Put that glass of water down!

This. I would like to remind myself.

Put the Glass Down
When you leave office today.

A Professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it.
He held it up for all to see & asked the students
“How much do you think this glass weighs?”
'50g!' .... '100g!' ..... '125g' ..the students answered.
“I really don't know unless I weigh it,” said the professor,
“but, my question is:
What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?”
'Nothing' …..the students said.
'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.
'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the student.
“You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?”
“Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis & have to go to hospital for sure!”
… ventured another student & all the students laughed …
“Very good, But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?” asked the professor.
‘No’…. Was the answer.
“Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle stress?”
The students were puzzled.
“What should I do now to come out of pain?” asked professor again.
‘Put the glass down!’ said one of the students.
“Exactly!” said the professor.
Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they seem OK.
Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache.
Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you.
You will not be able to do anything.
It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life,
but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT is to ‘PUT THEM DOWN’ at the end of every day before you go to sleep.
That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh & strong & can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!
So, When you leave office today, remember to …

'PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!'

The Assumption Song

Hello dear blog! Here's a short update. Just came across this video from Facebook posted by one of my friend. It's called The Assumption Song.

I can tell you this video is so wrong at so many levels, but there isn't anything wrong at all. You'll get what I mean after you watch it.

Get what I mean???

I believe there are a few more videos like that...people these days can think of everything.

Sigh~back to work tomorrow.

Current Fav Songs

I have always liked Train's songs. But sometimes their songs may get a little bit too annoying like 'Hey! Soul Sister'. Nevertheless, Rob Hotchkiss, the lead singer, can sing well. Love the 'Marry Me' song too.

Foster The People has become famous recently. Especially with the song 'Pumped Up Kicks'. Really catchy!
And I kinda like it. Just found another catchy song from them - Don't Stop (Color On The Walls). Love the groovy feel.

That's all for the update now! I have been busy with work lately. Oh the worries when I received an email instruction from my manager last night. Stressed!

See y'all!

Legoland Malaysia!

Well well well! Looks like we'll have additional fun rides towards the end of year 2012! If you haven't noticed, Merlin Entertainments Group is currently building its state-of-the-art Legoland in Malaysia! And according to sources, it's already 40% completed! Did I also mention it is Malaysia's 1st International Theme Park?

Entrance fares are currently in sale and at a much lower discount! You can get more information from the website link provided below.

Announcement of the grand opening day will take place in the 2nd quarter 2012. Tentatively the theme park is set to open in 4th quarter 2012.

I don't really know what's the difference between the 2 opening days, and it don't really matter to me anyway.

So. It seems like there are some discount given to MyKad holders as per the website. Which means, good news for all of us! Now click on the link below!

Introduction

Hello and welcome again! I have created a new blog because the previous one has already been ruined by my half-completed Project 365. I will just gonna let it rot in the internet world.

Anyway, I have not posted anything since 2010 and it was fairly a hectic year for me in 2011. Many good and bad things happened during the 1 year hiatus, while most of the time was being spent on studying and working my arse off.

Some of my closest friends went off to overseas to further their studies, while the remaining remained. Well, occasionally we still hang out for drinking sessions during the weekends. And mind you, drinking sessions means drinking teas and not alcohols. We are very healthy people.

2011 happened too quickly for me to remember the details, but some of the major events was me being quasi-graduated and started working on 29th of June. A very memorable day indeed. Last 3 accounting papers will span about 3 years to complete, so I'll not anticipate any graduation parties anytime soon. But the time will come! Provided that the world does not end on the 21st of December this year.

On the optimistic side, being able to generate income at the age of 20 seems very intriguing. Easing my family's burden is what I have been doing for the past 6 months and I'm very glad to have supported my family like how they have been supporting me for the past 2 decades.

Family has been great all these years. Friends are all awesome.

And now, it's just the beginning of 2012. ;)
